How BBOT was Born

BBOT was founded during a moment that sparked a movement. While out on the water, we noticed something missing—people who looked like us. That moment inspired a vision. We wanted to create a space where Black boaters could connect, learn from one another, and most importantly, build meaningful relationships.

What started as a simple idea has grown into a vibrant community—Black Boaters of Today—where we celebrate our love for boating, culture, and each other.
